What is sun damage?
Sun damage refers to when the skin is exposed to excess sun light and UV rays which can cause signs of “photoaging”. Wrinkles, loss of elasticity, uneven skin tone, skin discolouration, pigmentation; appearance of age spots, brown spots and freckles, melasma, broken capillaries and redness are all part of sun damage conditions.
What causes this concern ?
Sun exposure increases uneven production of melanin, damages skin cells forming pigmentations and stretching of blood vessels and the skin, damaging the elastin beneath the skin causing skin to lose its form.
