Aftercare Guide
FIRST 24 HOURS
Avoid washing your face, touching or rubbing the treatment area.
FIRST 72 HOURS
Avoid makeup and eating spicy or irritating foods.
FIRST 1 WEEK
Avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, and other high-temperature environments. Avoid taking anticoagulant medications (Ibuprofen, Aspirin).
FIRST 2 WEEKS
Avoid sun exposure, strenuous exercise, hot yoga, facial massages, lifting heavy objects, applying cosmeceutical grade products (AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C, Retinol), any exfoliation, peels, injectable/laser/ energy based treatments.
FIRST 4 WEEKS
Avoid any dental procedures.
Please apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 whenever going outdoors.
Follow your doctor’s advice: take any antibiotics and/or pain relief prescribed to help prevent infection and reduce pain.
Post treatment symptoms can include redness, swelling, bruising, pain, tingling, tightening or burning sensations.
These symptoms can last up to 2-3 weeks, and are considered normal.
Tingling and/or burning sensations can continue for up to 2 months. It is recommended to sleep with your head elevated for 72hrs post treatment to reduce swelling.
Please also minimise talking and chewing, and follow a soft diet.
