FIRST 4 HOURS
Avoid washing your face, applying makeup, getting the treatment area wet.
FIRST 24 HOURS
Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, applying cosmeceutical grade products (AHAs, BHAs, Vitamin C, Retinol)
FIRST 72 HOURS
Avoid flights, swimming, extreme heat or cold (saunas, ice baths etc)
FIRST WEEK
Avoid any professional facials, peels, massages or laser/ energy based treatments, touching or pressing the injection site, anticoagulant medications (ibuprofen, Aspirin)
Please apply sunscreen with a minimum SPF of 30 whenever going outdoors.
Bruising, mild pain and swelling is normal post injection, up to one week. over the counter paracetamol may be taken if necessary.
The first couples of days after treatment, a cold compress may help to relieve pain. Please apply for a maximum of 10 minutes at a time, every few hours.
**If the skin colour at the injection site changes colour (white or matted purple) and or increase in pain significantly within the first 4 hours after injection, please contact the clinic immediately.**
